The Government of Cuba has announced three undergraduate scholarships in Medicine (MBBS) for HEC Cuban Government MBBS Scholarship 2025. The scholarships are offered through the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Islamabad. Eligible candidates can apply online before the deadline, March 28, 2025.

Benefits of the Cuban Government MBBS Scholarship
The scholarship covers the following expenses for selected students:
- Tuition Fees (fully funded)
- Hostel Accommodation & Toiletries
- Food (as per Cuban Government regulations)
- Monthly Stipend (limited amount in Cuban Pesos)
Expenses Not Covered by the Scholarship
Students must bear the following costs on their own:
- Round-trip airfare
- Halal food expenses
- Medical insurance (for illness or other causes)
- Visa fees
- Living expenses
Additionally, a one-time grant of Rs. 300,000 will be provided to the scholarship awardees after their departure to Cuba. (A valid Pakistani bank account is required.)
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the scholarship:
- Minimum 70% marks in FSc Pre-Medical/A-Level
- Minimum 60% marks in Matric/O-Level
- MDCAT qualified with at least 50% marks (as per PMDC rules)
- Must provide a valid USAT-M test score (obtained on or after March 28, 2024)
- Age: 18-25 years as of the application deadline
- Pakistani/AJK nationals only
- Final selection is based on the USAT-M test score
Note: Result-awaiting candidates are not eligible to apply.

- Register and complete your profile.
- Select “Learning Opportunities Abroad” from the application options.
- Submit the application and print a copy.
- Sign the printed application and keep it for record.

Required Documents (For Shortlisted Candidates Only)
Shortlisted applicants must submit the following documents:
- Signed copy of the HEC online application form
- Matric/O-Level Certificate (IBCC attested)
- FSc/A-Level Certificate (IBCC attested)
- Birth Certificate (NADRA issued)
- Father/Guardian’s CNIC Copy
- Police Clearance Certificate (No criminal record)
- Valid Passport (at least 6 months validity)
- Original Medical Certificate (HIV/AIDS test report, attested by MoFA)
Note: No need to send hard copies of documents unless instructed by HEC.
