The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has established the Chief Minister Education Endowment Fund (CMEEF) Scholarship until 2025. KP CMEEF Scholarship 2024 : This fully compensated grant is available to students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees. It covers all educational fees and provides a monthly income of PKR 5000.
The CMEEF Scholarship considers both merit and financial need. The Department of Higher Education, Archives and Libraries offers it to students pursuing a BS, BE, MS, MPhil, or Ph.D. programs in certain disciplines and institutions.

Only Khyber Pakhtunkhwa students admitted in selected colleges are eligible to apply. Applications should be made directly to the institution where the student is enrolled.

Eligibility Criteria for CMEEF Scholarship 2024
For undergraduate programs:
- Domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is required.
- Should not receive any other scholarship.
- Monthly family income should not exceed PKR 100,000 from all sources.
- A bond or undertaking is required.

For Post Graduate Programs (MS/MPhil/Ph.D.):
- Domicile in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is necessary.
- Must meet entry requirements or have a verified offer of admission to an eligible subject or institution.
- For MS/MPhil: A minimum of 50% on the GRE/GAT (General or Subject).
- For PhD, a minimum of 60% on the GRE/GAT (general or subject).
- the applicant’s age shall not exceed 50 years.
- Must have a first-class academic record (at least 1st division or CGPA 3.0 out of 4.0 or 3.75 out of 5).
- Should not accept any other scholarships.
- The monthly family income should not exceed PKR 100,000 from all sources.
- A bond or commitment is required.
